01 / The challenge

Complex messages have to feel clear, credible, and human.

NRG needed to communicate important subjects—from emerging technology to regulatory and ethical responsibility—to a broad internal workforce. Each message had to preserve executive credibility while remaining accessible, relevant, and useful to employees across different roles and locations.

Clear enough to understand. Credible enough to trust.

02 / What I led

One production approach,
shaped for every message.

I led creative direction, cinematography, studio production, and editing across two internal messages with different responsibilities. The production standard stayed consistent: keep the speaker credible, make the information easier to follow, and never let the craft compete with the message.

  1. 01Creative direction and production planning
  2. 02Studio staging, lighting, and equipment configuration
  3. 03Cinematography and camera operation
  4. 04Editorial storytelling and post-production

The message leads. Production makes it land.

03 / The key decision

From policy and technology to messages people can act on.

Each project began with a different organizational need, but the production standard remained consistent: establish trust quickly, support the speaker, clarify the message, and give employees a clear reason to engage.

04 / Featured work

Two subjects. One standard of clarity.

05 / The impact

Two messages. One standard: make complexity understandable.

01

COMPANYWIDE EMPLOYEE AUDIENCE

Communications designed for employees across corporate, customer-facing, operational, and power-generation environments.

02

EXECUTIVE & TRAINING COMMUNICATIONS

A production approach flexible enough to support both senior-leader messaging and employee learning.

03

END-TO-END PRODUCTION LEADERSHIP

Creative direction, staging, lighting, cinematography, camera operation, editing, and final delivery.

04

RESPONSIBLE AI & ETHICAL CONDUCT

Complex organizational priorities translated into focused stories employees could understand and apply.

06 / Reflection

Corporate video works when the message feels as considered as the image.

Corporate video works when the production never competes with the message. The frame, lighting, edit, and pace should help the speaker feel credible and make the information easier to understand and act on.

Clear messages move people forward.
